Anyway. Lots of new pictures of the garden.
The perennials are growing by leaps and bounds. I actually grew a flower. A big shiny purple flower!
Read 'em and weep!

"Whimsy" Garden
Nick wanted to do an "anything goes" garden. So, naturally...I planned it and finished it quickly before he could put his disorganized little hands on it. I've planted 3 tomato plants and a tomatillo plant. Lots of flowers too including marigolds and dwarf snapdragons. But the most important elements are my "whimsy" (which is actually the technical name for such garden ornaments). I have some stones that say Love, Live and Laugh, two flower shaped go around things (not such a technical name, i realize) and the same garden plaque that my grandma had in her garden.

And my favorite Whimsy of all. Makes me feel like a frat boy.
